Current & Expected Salary

點講最穩陣?

Q: Interview時 HR 多數都會問 current 同 expected salary ,點樣講最穩陣?

 

Current Salary

因為每間公司嘅 salary structure 各有不同,有fixed 部分 (basic) 同 variable 部分 ( bonus, allowance etc.),要 apple to apple 去比較先有意思。

 

最好方法係計下你依家嘅 Total Annual Cash

 

假設你 monthly salary 係 $30,000,13 個月糧 (即有 double pay),每月有fixed meal allowance$2,000,annual bonus 平均係 2 個月

Current Total Annual Cash

= (30k x 13 mths) + (2k x 12 mths) + (30k x 2 mths)

= $474k (你嘅 current annual salary)

 

Expected Salary

 

古語有云,講錢傷感情

 

我建議 interview 初段 / 填 form 時寫 “negotiable”,因為:

  • 你唔知 hiring company 個 salary budget
  • 講大咗 - 可能令你即時出局
  • 講細咗 - 令你傾 offer 時蝕章

 

如果 HR 硬係要你比個數佢做 reference,你就喺 current annual salary 上加一個 reasonable %,個% 視乎經濟環境、行頭、工種,亦可以問相熟 headhunter 何謂 reasonable。

 

當然真係傾 offer 時,除咗 expected annual cash 之外,仲要考慮埋其他 benefits (annual leave, medical coverage, MPF/ORSO, product allowance etc.), 一籃子去咁樣秤,咁先至 smart :0)
